The La Gloria Cubana Alemarado Cuban cigar is a Regional Edition produced for the Andes market in 2020. At 50 ring gauge by 6 ⅛ inches, it is an imposing Robusto Extra – known as Dobles in the factory – which will smoke for over an hour. This size has been used for many Regional Edition cigars and entered Regular Production with the Montecristo Double Edmundo in 2013.
La Gloria Cubana, and their medium-strength cigars, are not the most famous Havana brands but are very well thought of by true Habanos connoisseurs. They are one of only 3 brands used for exclusive cigars made for the Andes region – previously known as Andino B.P.E – and have often been chosen by other, more prominent distributors. A mere 2,000 boxes of these cigars were made, making the ones which left the region extremely hard to find.
